YinX’s General Terms and Conditions are listed here. You can also download the PDF document.

The following general terms and conditions are applicable at YinX:

> You can upgrade the balance of the YinX card with a minimum of €5 and a maximum of €150 per upgrade. A card can be upgraded with an amount between the two afore-mentioned amounts regardless of the balance. The card can be upgraded as often as you like, for frequent and easy use*. (*not valid for Limited Edition Cards, which can only be upgraded once)

> The YinX card is valid indefinitely* (*not valid for the Limited Edition Cards, which have a different front than the “main” or standard YinX card and contain a photo or illustration of a person, product, genre, slogan, word and/or logo that’s different from the full bleed YinX logo and are valid maximum two years after upgrading/activation)

> The YinX card is a legal means of payment in the shops and online parties mentioned on this website.

> Once uploaded, money on the YinX card cannot be reimbursed to a bank account.

> A YinX card cannot be exchanged for money.

> Participating shops have the right to exclude products or services from being purchased with a YinX card (for example an item whose proceeds are donated to a charitable cause). YinX recommends that you ask the shop about possible exceptions.  

> The shop that sells the card is responsible for the accurate registration of the balance on the card and bound by the settlement to third parties of the amount used.

> YinX is not responsible for the quality of products and/or services that are purchased with a YinX card (or partially paid for with a YinX card).

> If items purchased with the YinX card are registered as unhealthy for the body or mind or as unsuitable for children then it is the YinX card user’s responsibility to use these items responsibly.

> If a YinX card user accepts services or products via the Internet then legal stipulations come into force and the YinX means of payment is not liable.

> The YinX means of payment is not liable for illegally acquired items or illegal services acquired via the Internet.

> Every Limited Edition Card must be approved by YinX before it can be used as a means of payment.

> YinX falls under all legal stipulations that are established at the European level related to the free movement of money and goods between EU countries.

>YinX is a gift card. Many Belgian and Dutch shops are currently affiliated, as are several companies that offer online services and/or products. YinX reserves the right to expand or, if necessary, exclude these providers from further expenses and/or acceptance.

These general terms and conditions have been in place since October 2009. They will be adjusted whenever necessary on this website. In that case the changes will be valid after being mentioned on the website.
